Icmeler Online Holiday Forum & Reviews - Turkey

Im going to Icmeler in 2 weeks and staying in this hotel,and i have just been told by someone who was speaking to a person who stayed in this hotel that they and many others where struck down with food poisoning and ended up spending all day in bed for their holiday!

So as you can imagine im a bit worried now,and just wondered if anyone heard anything about this hotel??

we stayed there last year ,, we found the food ok as did everyone else ,although it is a bit repetitive as most turkish hotels are it was fine , remember you are in turkey and not in the uk , it is basically all turkish food ,, since last year the hotel has been refurbished , i had a look in this year .. so new staff new management etc ,, hope this helps , enjoy your holiday

Like Colin, I stayed at this hotel last year and I agree with his comments. UK guests were in the minority. However, I popped in to see my uncle who was there in June this year and it's really changed. An increase in UK guests, better bar area and entertainment. They've also got tennis court and children's play area. My uncle and aunt have to be careful about food given their health and they were fine - and loved it. The only thing that hasn't changed is the size of the balconies - quiet small and if overloking the street there's the night noise but that's not too bad in fact some people love it. Rooms were a good size with good bathrooms too.

I'm sure it will be fine and you'll have a great holiday. The hotel is central so you're close to everything and food is so good and so inexpensive that it's well worth getting out for a few meals.
