Icmeler Online Holiday Forum & Reviews - Turkey

Well i have been and got back from Icmeler and have finally stopped crying everytime i think about the place.

God its so beautiful, the people are so nice, i stayed in the Fortuna Beach which was not too bad, but will be trying other hotels too ............ im coming back.

I just had a lazy holiday with loads of lying around the pool and the beach, did the market, god they dont half harrass you and i was actually too shy to try and bargain with them but will do next time.

Took the taxi boat to marmaris, the man in charge of the boat was so funny got everyone up to dance and play some musical instruments i loved it, couldnt find him to come back so came back in a grumpy mans boat.

I made a few admirers suppose its part and parcel when your single out there, god was flattered but dare not fall for any of their charms, lol.

Well thing is i want to go back october half term again, what is the weather like, and thats the end of season isnt it so just want a few pointers on wether it would be worth going at that time.

I just need to stop being sad everytime i think about the place i just loved it so very much xxx

we always go oct half term, the weather can be a bit hit n miss but we havent done too bad. You might see a bit of rain, but its still warm during the day,shorts n t shirts obviously cooler at night but still only needed cardigan etc.It is quieter and a few places have closed, the rest usually close that week but things are a bit cheaper.sue

Glad you enjoyed it. I agree with all that Sue6259 has said. We went last year's half term and had a great time. Odd bit of rain but nothing to bad. I would add to stay close to town as it was a bit quiet where we stayed as we were the only apartment with anyone in it. It was a bit eariy coming back at night time. It was great to be able to walk around in the daytime as when we usually go in the main summer it is to hot to wonder around during the day. Hope it helps. Di.

october is nice a lot cooler and you might need a cardy or jumper for night time as it can be a bit chilly
weather can be a hit or miss but normally it can still be very nice in the day time
definitely worth going
