Hi, it has just said on the inetrnet that T.C have just book out Co-op travels 360 shops and Midlands co-op societys 100 shops, the big boys get bigger, and they recon they wont put their prices up!!!

It actually says struggling Thomas Cook has merged with Coop Travel etc. My cousin works for Cooperative Travel and says it has been on cards for ages. In town where I live it is the TC shop that will close not Coop. However I agree with prices will go up - thats why I have just booked my flights for next June & Sept!

The possible merger was in the newspaper over a month ago. Hope this will help them as they've given three profit warnings in the last 12 months which didn't sound too good. Their CEO resigned two weeks ago and I wondered if it was rats deserting a sinking ship.

We booked new flights with them after Aegean went bust so was beginning to get worried. Now that they've merged the company should now be stronger. I hope :!:

It may sound weird but I was in tha back of a black cab the other day sizing it up.

No luggage to take as everything I need is at home in Icmeler so I would fill the boot, inside of the cab and the space next to me with provisions :wink:
