Hi All
Anyone know any good spots for birdwatching around Icmeler, Like to get my nature fix whilst away ( 3weeks on Monday) We always walk to Marmaris early morning and usually see Red squirrel, lizards, Hooded crows and herring gulls. Several years back we hired a car and drove to the lake at the back of Dalyan , a long drive for little reward.
Have seen blue rock thrush from a bbq boat trip a couple of times at Church Bay. On one of the island on the way to turunch there is a colony of alpine swifts. Snorkeling last year saw octopus ( small one) and Squid.

Try the beach for a bit of bird watching, but wear mirrored sunglasses so the wife doesn't catch you.

Go to our office and hire a car then get a map from Ali and ask him to mark off the route to the "Amazon"

This is supposed to be the best birdwatching area in Turkey

About an hours drive
