Blue Rainbow

Postby ayse » 05 Aug 2011 21:04

Hi all
Booked to go to Blue Rainbow via ICR end of August. I'd appreciate any reviews from anyone who has been there recently because the reviews on Trip Advisor are awful. I am hopeful that it is not as bad as it is made out to be as albeit we are not fussy I will not tolerate rudeness from management and that is what the gripes seem to be all about. hopefully JT can put my mind to rest!

The lady that runs the place is Gulsah and is very nice

The owner is not a rude man in fact is a gentleman and is on the council board.

Maybe people class rudeness as not speaking to them, I don't know

I know he lost his father this year when the hotel was open so I suppose he may be a bit down

Go with an open mind

Lots of people return to Blue Rainbow year after year and a few times a year and love the place

There is nowt queer than folk

Hi
we stayed at the blue rainbow for a week last october half term, the rooms were clean and of a good size with a fridge my daughter and i had a problem with our hot water but my partner and son were in the room next door and had no problems.
The pool area was of a good size and we were able to get sunbeds no problem.
We were all inclusive and found the food to be really basic but we only stayed a week so it was o.k the only thing was that the dining area is quite small.
we found the staff to be fine and none of them were rude.
I would go with an open mind and if like us you only paid peanuts it was good value for money, hope you have a good time.

Thank you JT and Debs, a shame about the man's father no wonder he was down!. I am sure we will have a fab time regardless and as long as it's clean I don't mind.

hi we are booked into the blue rainbow end of august and have read the reviews on tripadvisor and other sites and have done this on previous years with other hotels we have stayed at in icmeler and have come to the conclusion to take little notice of most of them .tend to find you get what you pay for and if people want 5 star service pay for it.

Thanks Ivano we'll see you there then, yes I agree a holiday is what you make it and we wanted somewhere very near the beach so that's why we booked the Blue Rainbow.

We go on the 29th August so not too long to wait now.

Hi, please got to the Blue Rainbow and have a lovely holiday, we stayed there last year and for the money and the location it can not be faulted in any way, if you get a sea view room the views are outstanding, hotel is a little bit dated and food is ok but not tons of choice(hence the low price)lovely pool spotlessly clean, friendly staff, ignore bad reviews, dont worry you will wonder what some people find to moan about.
