I was just about to post the same. I was going on to see if the cheap flights I booked on Monday were still cheap and it is saying in administration more news to follow shortly. I hope I get my money back, I have not had a holiday abroad for 2 years and this was our savings for a holiday next year. I am gutted

terrible news, I was looking for cheap holidays this morning and came across the H4U website with the news of its closing. Hope there aren't too many people affected.

if its like what happened with goldtrail and scot travel you have to apply to the CAA and download a claim form
its about 10 pages long and they take a long time to process your claim
we did get our money back with scot travel but an excess was taken off of £50 per person
so we lost £200 but got the rest back
it took just over a year from when they went bust to get the money
hope this helps
the form should be on the CAA website

I would think we have to wait on hearing what Onur Air will do regarding flights that many of us have paid for.

thats not fair to customers

Oh god - just saw this. I was literally on the verge of booking flights just yesterday!! Feel so sorry for anyone who is booked with them though - it was a real nightmare when we were affected by Kiss Flights going into administration. What with that, Goldtrail and others in recent times, it makes you really wary now.

This is terrible news. Like many of us, we have next years two flights booked too for June and Sept.

I have this Octobers flight booked with JT/ICR though, will that flight still be okay? Its Onur Air, booked via ICR.

i guess it all depends what Onur Air is going to do
if they are going to continue to act themselves and send the planes to turkey and honour the booking then it should be ok
otherwise i have no idea
i guess we have just have wait and see :(
so sorry for anyone in this position

If you booked by credit card get in touch with them ASAP to get your money back normally takes up to 6 weeks the quicker you claim the faster they pay back.
Can take up to a year via CAA.
Very much doubt Onur Air will do anything as they will now have a huge funding gap as they have charted planes to Aegean/Holidays4u and will now be stuck with planes earning no money also they will not have the infrastructure to sell to the public.
Aegean/Holidays4u have your money not Onur Air.
ICR may try to find their customers alternative flights and claim back themselves via the CAA if ICR have the funds to last that long for payments via the CAA (could be out of pocket for a year) with you having to then only pay the flight price difference.

Good Luck to all of you affected.
