Vela Hotel & wifi??

Hi all,

We're off to Icmeler on 8th Aug and have booked to stay at the Vela Hotel. I'd read a few good reports on here and TripAdvisor so hoping it's OK.

We've been to Icmeler the last 6 years and, other than our first visit where we stayed at a place up near the market, we have always stayed at the Mitos Appts on the canal.

With finances tight we weren't planning a holiday at all this year but at the last minute we've changed our mind.

Can anyone tell me exactly where the Vela is? Is it by the cash points in the square?

Hi Guys, I have just booked last minute holiday for myself and my two daughters (12, to the Vela hotel. Just wondered if anyone knows if the hotel has computers/wifi? my eldest in panicking that she wont be able to check out facebook, well me too if i am honest. I have also been checking call /text charges on my mobile and they are very expensive. Is it cheaper to buy a sim card once i am out there and is it easy enough to do so?

There was mention of wifi in the lobby that I read someplace. When are you going? We'll be there 8th-23rd with our 14yr old daughter.

Yes, Darren - it is by the cash points in the square - used to be the old Litera hotel.

Excellent thanks. Just hope it's as good as it sounds. So long as it's clean, the beds are comfy and the aircon works I'll be happy Anything else will be a bonus.

We fly out from Manchester on Sunday 7th August and are staying for 9 nights. Am hoping my girls make friends whilst we are there so i can sunbathe in peace. Will keep an eye out for you all. The reviews sound really good so hoping it is going to be nice.
