Yalcin Apartments - help needed.

Postby jools » 22 Jul 2011 11:14

Hi,

My friend is getting married in Icmeler in a few weeks and her partner, who is Turkish, has booked us apartments for the stay. I know I shouldn't really be advertising anywhere else on here, but I'm at a loss for what to do.

I need to find the address of the apartments to sort out transfers and since they are privately rented, I can't find anything on google.

They are called the Yalcin Apartments and are near the Greenmar and Aqua hotel. If anyone could shed some light on the address, I would be very grateful.

I've also seen a review of them online (although it's from 2006) which says there is no air con there. If anyone could let me know if this is true, I'll definitely be pulling out and rebooking with ICR!!

They could be the privately owned small places behind the irish bar so definitely not advertising as normally only Turkish people would stay in this type of accommodation and we would not deal with them as they would not be suitable for UK guests

Thank you for your reply, JT. May I just ask what it is about the apartments which is unsuitable for UK guests? I'm a bit apprehensive about staying here and knowing nothing about them, and am thinking of booking elsewhere with ICR.

If they are what I am thinking then they do not have a bar, a pool or any ameneties that you would expect from holiday apartments

I think they are just a very small pansion

I think they are just down from the Irish Bar and as John says are just a pension.
