I like Kavak white as it's dry. Just struggle to get it cold enough for me as ice is at a premium.

Still not had the courage to try the red so if anyone could suggest a decent red I would be interested. In the UK I quite like a good Merlot so anything similar?

The Doluca reds are ok.Only thing is its really warm and I had to ask for ice in it.Red is a good drink in winter even here we drink much more white in summer. I had the house red in Tandoori sizzler with a glass of ice,and in Jimmy''s Okimo with a glass of ice.Cant drink it otherwise...just too warm! :)

I don't know about other places but I do know that Tandoori has some bottles of red in the large fridge in the restaurant

Just ask them when you arrive to place one in the freexer for 20 minutes then get it in a bucket of ice

There is no short supply of ice in Icmeler just some very tight bar owners who do not have ice makers who don't like buying it in in quantity

Hi JT

Don't suppose you know if the Tandori Sizzler stocks Kavak white?

Hi everyone, new member on here but have been reading and digesting all the fab information for a long time. PatsieJ I couldn't agree with you more (my first post would have to involve alcohol!!) Kavak has been my favourite for years sometimes I can get it no problem and other times it's not so easy although Tansas usually has quite a lot in stock! Could actually go a large one right now ha ha  Janet

Hi Janet

It's OK buying a bottle in the Tansas but don't think restaurant owners would appreciate my taking my own wine in! I know that Bonjour and Charlies (opposite Mandalin) stock Kavak but I don't want to eat there all the time. I'm hoping that the Sizzler stock it as I am hoping to have a couple of meals there this September.
