Icmeler Online Holiday Forum & Reviews - Turkey

Hi Everyone,

Have been reading the forum for a few weeks now after finally booking a holiday to Icmeler. I have been to Marmaris before but think i have made the right choice after reading this forum. Unfortunately i'm not going till October 2nd!!!!
Just a bit concerned that obviously this must be near the end of the season and i'm crossing my fingers that the weather will still be ok. Would love some clarification on this.

dont worry about the weather it will be great
i am always there late september october and even then it still can be too hot
also maybe this year because it has been exceptionly hot it will continue
the only thing that will be different is usually you get some spectacular thunder storms and very heavy rain
but it is still warm!

We always go in October - like you 2nd this year. Had the odd day's rain or odd evening, but clears and dries very quickly. The restaurants even took us home one night so we wouldn't get wet. Very warm in October but cooler at night which can be a bonus trying to sleeping. We've been going to Icmeler for about 9-10 years and love the place and the people.

Does anyone know if the increased numbers of bees and wasps mentioned earlier in the forum for September is still an issue for October?

Does anyone know what the weather will be like at the end of October, ie about the 23rd, half term week. Our friends are thinking of going then, also will there be anything open then. Thanks folks!

I am going back to Icmeler 20th October and if last year (same week) was anything to go by it will be great, weather really hot.....not a cloud in sight all week, just a wee bit nippy at night all the bars and shops etc were open and also the market. Really good bargains to be had as this is the last week of the season. Everything is just the same as in the height of the summer.....just a lot quieter.......then again it has been quiet all season so just look forward to a great holiday and bag yourselves lots of cheap goodies
