Beware if you are staying in old village near Adler and Majestic area, but a friend of ours was bitten 3times last night by a Alsation/German Shepherd type dog in this area near school and football pitch, not sure if the dog is associated to any apartments but there is a similar incident recorded last July so beware in this vicinity.
The person who was bitten was out having a run about 6 30pm when he was attacked and now has to go to Marmaris for 5 days of injections.

I would presume the injections are for possible rabies infection.

That's what you get for being daft enough to go out running in that heat...

(Only joking, before anyone complains!)

I certainly wouldn't like to get bitten there in view of the recent cases of rabies in Turkey. Apparently the rabies injections are in the tummy and not very pleasant. Perhaps the person should have reported the dog to the police/authorities before it happens again- could have been a child.

A big dog like that could seriously damage a child, all the dogs we met on the beach last year were really friendly and only took notice of us if they wanted water because they knew that we took extra water down for them.
