Hi my e-tickets arrived last night from Onur via Aegean flights. They notified a change in the flight times. We were originally booked on the OHY3380, but that has been changed to OHY4380. However, the original flight left Manchester at 20.00 and arrived at Dalaman at 2.15. This has now been changed to, departing Manchester at 19.20 (earlier than the original flight) but does not arrive in Dalaman until 02.55. So, in effect we start off earlier but end up arriving in Dalaman much later than the original flight.

Is is me being crazy, or can anybody explain a suggestion as to why? I will however contact Aegean today to hopefully try and solve the mystery extra hours. Sounds bizzare to me.

Your thoughts would be appreciated.

Maybe a mistake but do call them

Also inform the people that are doing your transfer so they know

maybe you will now be stopping at another airport to pick up more passengers, just a thought!!! xx

Helen what date do you fly, just wondering how far in advance they have sent your e-tickets out to you.

Also agree it sounds like you may have a combined flight picking up at another airport.

Hi helen, you may be dropping off passengers at Bodrum before continuing on to Dalaman, i know that Onurair have done this on return flights this year.

Hi Dave, we travel out on the 27th July and return on the 19th August. I'm sure we just missed you in Sidik's last year. Got the e-tickets last night.

Thanks, we are out 5th to the 22nd August so may bump into you around the resort, possible the Tandori.

Thank you all for your suggestions. Could not contact aegean by phone, so sent an e-mail last night. Just had a reply. Apparently they are going via Doncaster (Robin Hood Airport) hence the longer travelling time.

my friends have had there flight cancelled with onur flying from doncaster out to dalaman, apparently all the flights were cancelled . They are having to depart from Teeside next week no explanation !!!!!

I hope the haven't cancelled the flights from Doncaster, we fly out on 7th September and haven't been told .... yet! will go and check now, wish me luck!

got the dreaded email yesterday .... flights from Donny on Sept 7th cancelled, not enough seats sold, after a stressfull few hours we managed to rearrange the flights, now going from teeside airport 12 hours earlier, which is not bad, its just the coming back thats not brilliant - fly from Dalaman at at 06.25 at least we're still going and I don't have to ring John up to try and sort our accomodation out ... phew that was a close one
