canal stalls

is it true, all the canal stalls have gone.I loved walking along there at night after our evening meal,have they replaced the stalls with anything else,surely the canal will be in darkness now,and what about the chaps who had the icecream vans and the chaps who did the portraits, have they all gone aswell.

Hi chris , yes stalls gone , ice cream people and the artists are still there though , the canal has a few lights wrapped around the bridges as a token gesture , better than nothing i suppose . However the charm of icmeler still strongly remains intact so dont be too down COZ ITS STILL GREAT
