plane set off late and still landed early ??

Hi all, i have been keeping a close eye each Wednesday on the flight we will be taking next wednesday to Dalaman. How, when it departed Manchester 23 minutes late did it then manage to land 5 minutes early?

It may have also been rerouted to the most direct route, I was watching our plane a couple of weeks ago on flightradar and at one point it was doing 600mph so must have had a great tail wind.

The site is http://www.flightradar24.com/

If goto settings and I restrict the planes to OHY so there are not so many planes shown and then just search for mine.

It shows the routing, speed, height etc in realtime
