After spending 10 days in Icmeler I have got to comment on Bamboo Bar located at bottom of canal on beach - WHAT A FAB NIGHT!!! From minute we sat down - it was all go at this place Food was good, drink fab, entertainment could not be beaten - ambience superb! Even people could not pass without stopping and the guys even danced for them outside!!! The only bar that managed to captivate all whether a customer or not!!!! Superb bar you must give it a try - I even managed to get tipsy (very) cos they got you in the right mood. We planked all the way back to hotel Worst night was Majestic - food superb!!! - but entertainment was same old stuff and very very very dire, once eaten had to get out quickly - they have to move on!!! Wished I was in Venice across canal cos entertainment seemed more lively!!

You must lizcoy - No other place seemed to captivate an audience quite like Bamboo from what I could see!! This place managed to get us in mood for a fab nite and a fab nite is what we had - even paid out £32 for a huge fishbowl which 5 of us shared!! No wonder we were typsy - but they put us all in the mood for a fab time!!!

If you go to the Bamboo, look out for Oscar who is now a partner this year, after being the Manager last year. You might know him from OB's bar about 10 years ago, Oscars British bar at the Waterfall to 2005 and the Pop Inn to 2008. Still the same guy, wants to ensure everyone has a good time and he's very quick to correct things that are wrong.

Go and have a look, night or day and tell him we recommended. Already spent 2 weeks there this year and 3 more coming up as he is a good friend of ours and loves to see old and new friends.

And he doesn't normally forget a face!

Sounds brill we arrive on the 1st of august, were exactly is the bamboo please?

Walk along the prom heading towards Marmaris not Turunc and just over bridge at bottom of canal on the left...right is beach!We had a good night there didnt eat but went for the entertainment.There were 3 girls in one with her boyfriend and they got up dancing....far better than the lads!But trying to show them how to go on....a laugh!

This sounds interesting as we are only staying 50yrds away, I'll have to give it a try.

never been in there and been goin to icmeler for 10 years , but will be popping in on our 11th visit this august sounds brilliant
