You can buy them at the duty free from the airport your flying from, we took 4 bottles of vodka between the two of us last week. There is a duty free at arrivals in Dalaman just where the luggage carosels are but not sure on the prices though. At Manchester it was 2 bottles for £18.

Hi - we were told at Manchester that you can take 5litres each into Turkey - if you can carry it that is! We regularly take 2-3 bottles each for friends in Icmeler

You are only allowed 1 litre of spirits on each passport shown at Dalaman duty free

If you have come via Istanbul like I do then if you have purchased booze there, then when you try it at Dalaman on landing there they will tell you sorry you got it in Istanbul so can't use that passport

You are also allowed a couple of litres of stuff like Malibu or Baileys on the passport but they will not let you get anymore than that on one passport

Bring as much as you can carry from UK if you want as unless they are really manic that day and you get a jobsworth you will be ok

Can I bring bottles into Dalaman in my suitcase plus what I've bought in UK duty free and a bottle from Dalaman duty free too?

You are allowed only 1lt. of spirits per person into Turkey regardless as to where you purchase it.
Dalaman customs are usually relaxed, in my 28 arrivals at this airport I have only been stopped once and I am pleased to say I did not have any excess with me.

Thanks John v, I've been looking at customs allowances and it looks like it'll be a cheapo bottle in my suitcase from Tesco's and hope that my hubby can carry more in his bag on the otobus from Kizkalesi! :)
