It seems quiet on here at the minute, I reckon its because half of the forum are out in Icmeler enjoying themselves and we are only dreaming!

I just wish I was joining them!   well I suppose they all fly home on the day I fly out! Dont want to rush their holiday over or nothing!

I'm still here in dreary Britain, but my lovely source in Icmeler tells me it is quite quiet and cool there too right now. When I spoke to said source yesterday it was howling with wind so I guess I have to believe him! Wish I was out there finding out for myself though...........

My sister is there at the moment and they are having a mini heatwave, I think your source is trying to make you feel better, seeing as we are having such awful weather

Hi All

Just returend from Icmeler (monday14th) and it is a lot quiter than normal for this time of year

After speaking to a lot of Turkish people we know they are putting it down to the following

The world cup
Bird flu
Things that are going on in the Middle East

And after speaking to one restraunt owner we know he even suggested that it was down to the price of things in Icmeler saying that over the last two years price's have doubled ie: a sirlon steak two years ago cost 10YTL this year they are charging up to 24YTL.

As for the weather it was in mid 40's for the two weeks we were there

Steve
