Safe, value boat trips

I have a terrible phobia about driving/being driven (I have to say it has been made worse by my experiences on Turk roads, lol!) so any road tours are out of the question for us.

Can anybody recommend a safe, fun, interesting boat tour leaving from and returning to Icmeler?

Also something that doesn't break the bank would help, lol!

Have done the ICR boat trip and have to say it was excellent. Picked up in Icmeler driven to Marmaris boat with all day drinks and lunch and then dropped off back in Icmeler. Excellent day and very good value

Thanks everyone.

I've just been looking at the ICR boat trips and I'll definitely be booking one when we get there, the all day all-inc sounds excellent value.

Thanks again for the tip offs. :-)

just remember you get what you pay for. cheap isnt always best. i never been on icr boat but think i will this year. cost a bit more but not over crowded.30 max people i believ. any one know what beer they serve and whats for lunch. and is it bottled water.
was on a boat once (NOT ICR) that had big bottles of water but looked like they had been refilled a few times, no lables and creased bottles. stuck to beer but it wasnt efes and in small plastic cups :(

I've been warned about checking exactly what is included in the trips. I'll definitely be sticking to a reputable organiser. I don't want to pay a fortune but I will pay enough to not be ripped off.
To be honest before I looked at prices for ICR trips I was expecting to pay about £40 each so I'm happy to pay their prices. :-)

To be honest juju, that'll do me as I'm not too great on boats either, lol!
I want to get out and see a bit of somewhere other than Icmeler as we've not been there for years and didn't see much then either, lol!
As long as my son can have a swim, I get some sun, the hubby has a beer we'll be alright :-)

I've just come back from a different resort after a few days away and the cheapest boat trip there with just lunch included was £26 and exactly the same as a £6-8 trip here so Icmeler/Marmaris again is the cheapest area to stay by far

Friends of ours went on that one and were very disappointed - said it was so crowded they couldn't get a sunbed and found the drinks and food very poor.

I went on an All Inclusive boat trip last week booked through ICR and it was great. We were picked up from our apartments, taken to the marina in Icmeler an dropped off back in Icmeler. The boat we was on was the Eren 1 and there were a few empty beds so wasn't too overcrowded.

Lunch was pasta, meatball, chicken and salad and yes they had bottled water. Quite a few swim stops and we stopped in Turunc for 40 mins to do some shopping.

What about alcohol Eatock08, was it bottle Efes? Any local spirits?

Hi I saw people with small bottles of Effes but not sure on the vodka, I didn't drink alcohol on the trip sorry.

As soon as we go on the boat and they were ready to set off the lad was up taking drinks orders where on other AI boat trips I've done you had to go down and get your own drinks. And he did this throughout the trip and with them steps being so steep on the boats I don't know how he managed it so many times ha ha

As long as it's bottled I'm not fussed if they are small, the bigger ones get warm too quickly anyway, lol! :)

The reason I asked about the vodka was I'm getting quite scared about drinking any spirits this year as I've heard about the fake spirits that people have died drinking.
I'm going to steer clear of any spirits outside of our apartment as I'll bring my own but I'm worried that as my son looks a lot older than 14 (as he will be when we're there) and if he gets it in his head to have a sneaky little quaff (not that he's ever showed any interest in drinking, thanks goodness) I don't want him to have something like vodka and cola thinking I'll assume it's just cola.
Maybe I'm being paranoid or maybe I just remember what I was like at that age, lol! :)

Ooh, waitered drinks service makes it even more desirable, lol! :D
