When I have dropped the dogs off at the kennels I know I am on my way.

I know when we get on board that plane, that way i have got over all the worries like ...have we got passport,money,tickets ect and are we going to get to the airport on time...all the usual worries everyone gets before hand

tommorow we will be back for another visit to the sunshine of icmeler .

forgot to mention i booked the taxi today also, another tick off the list.

When I'm forced to get the iron out for the holiday clothes - hate ironing but love doing the holiday clothes! When I've checked the passports are still in date for the 50th time even though they were new last year, when I've checked the exchange rate for the 5th time already this week, when I've got piles of stuff all over and wondering if it'll actually be under 20kg in the case, when I've made the 4th list of things to do and it's getting shorter and shorter, when I can't sleep the night before getting up for the airport run just incase the 4 alarms set don't go off....

and breathe - when I'm standing in the queue to go through security at the airport, it finally feels like time to relax and enjoy

(yes, I am a bit of a control freak!)

When i start buying things to go

I can't relax until we're in the departures lounge though, always think i've forgotten something. No idea how because i have lists for lists!

I'm close enough to the airport so that even if the car breaks down I'd be able to walk it in time to catch my flight.

For me When I switch my Out of Office on my works email account which lets people know I am unavailable for the next 18 days and finally log off the computer.
