Just noticed on Facebook that they have more good offers on . Breakfasts 5 lira each buy one get one free, basically a quid for a breakfast, fantastic. All main meals half price between 19.00 -20.00 every night. Local and imported drinks 2 for 1 every night. Pint of efes 2.50 lira, quid a pint, bottles 3 lira. 10 different main meals from 10 lira every night.
I've never been to this bar but will pay a visit this year at those prices, same with the sizzler for the efes on offer and a good curry. What's the food like at the Buffalo, I know some people have moaned about the beer being flat but I don't want to get into that I'll judge that myself when I get there. Also whats the entertainment like there, what time does it get busy with the entertainment? I'm sure Eric will be along shortly to advise me.

Prices here are excellent in this bar but personally I just did not like it. Hard to put my finger on what it was just seemed to be lacking something.
Entertainment is karaoke every night from around 10 pm

Same here, Stewart - but it's a case of horses for courses, I guess, and it would be a very boring old world if we all liked the same. If you're on a budget though, those prices will take some beating.

hi ade,
the buffalo prices are certainly hard to beat and kareoke on every night is a bit of a hit or a miss but that's not the bar's fault, it's down to what kind of crowd is in. food reasonable for the price you pay, but don't expect the top quality nosh you get at most other restaurants.

As said, its not to be compared to somewhere like Loveboat (which is just as well as i hate the place) but you will not meet a nicer man than Sugar, he makes nothing on his beer, he subsidises it with his food, which is very good for what you pay.
Chicken and chips was a massive portion and the breakfasts are unbeatable. Everything is cooked fresh and is piping hot.
I have to agree i would not want to spend all night in there as karaoke does get a bit boring but there is a free pool table and free pc access.
If you are on a budget the place is absolutely ideal, i have had endless pints in there and never had a flat one, maybe those that go in and sip one beer for 5 hours may complain its flat but ut isnt, the turnover is too high to be flat.

Walk up past the Sizzler,
Past the Scotia Bar on your Left.
50 yards turn left at the Champion Bar.
About 50 yards down this road is the Buffalo on your Right.

We Have known Sugar since the mid 90's, when the Buffalo Bar was near the beach/Chateau De Ville
Hotel area.
The food is cheap & cheerful. Last year after various good meals in lots of restaurants around Icmeler, I had just simple Roast Chicken & Chips in the Buffalo Bar, it was fantastic. Just half a roasted chicken and chunky home made chips, but i was so tasty and I think only £2 or so! I also pop in for a few beers & brunch during the day, have game of pool or just chill with no hastle. As fo Karaoke, I would prefer if it was not on every night.
Anyway Sugar is a fantastic person, give him a try.
