Can anyone shed any light on wether the fake alchohol problem has subsided at all, or are you all safe in the knowledge that the problem does not exsist in Icmeler.

I can assure you that its still real from what happened to us on the 16th june ,try google fake vodka and see what comes up, dont buy cheap drinks these are designed to attract the young ones.

I just googled it and theres a bit about a factory in this country producing fake vodka and various about fake raki and the four that died in Bodrum probably fake whisky coctails.Vodka is pretty tasteless and so i would think you would taste any chemical added.Raki and whisky have far stronger tastes and may be difficult to detect especially cheap brands....only my opinion.

I am partial to a few Vodka Cokes and Raki, however as Lizcoy states it is not worth the risk so I will just stick to the Efes.

We'll bear this in mind and do our best to take care with drinks, esp vodka
However, we aren't overly concerned about it - after all, it wouldn't be in anyone's interests to use dodgy alchohol that was going to put folk in hospital, it wouldn't take long for word to get round IMHO
