last 4 years we have had our holiday in the beutiful icmeler, however this year we decided to have a change and visit side on the med coast of turkey. now with out doubt this place is beutiful, (not as beutiful as icmeler) but what we did find compared with icmeler last sept. we were paying about 4 tl for a large efe, 6tl for cocktails about 6 tl for a breakfast and 15 tl for a set menu meal. side prices were quiet abit more, breakfast 12tl efes 6tl cocktails were 11 to 15tl, there were no set menu meals and the cheapest meal was about 12 tl for say a salad or spag bol, has anyone noticed this sort of price rise in icmeler since last year

Not in Icmeler

Icmeler is a very small town with far too many bars so competition is very fierce

I reckon Icmeler is now the cheapest resort in Turkey

Brothers, Del-Mar, Can's etc all charging 6tl for a small beer, 7tl for a large. Cocktails between 12tl and 15tl. Johnnie Walker 13tl.

Breakfast (average) between 10 - 15 tl.

Looks like prices are fairly equalised in both resorts!

Got agree with JT that Icmeler is one of the cheapest resorts in Turkey. Yes the Cafe Del Mar and Brotheres are expensive in comparison with most others in Icmeler. Typical efes price is 5 lira cocktails around 8 lira and breakfast can be had in most places for between 5 and 7 lira. Plenty of restaurants doing set meals for about 18--20 lira for chicken set meal
