Nice Beach Restaurant

We've been visiting Icmeler for about ten years now on and off and will be on our way there in a few weeks. We've only been for a few meals down on the front, mainly Coco Beach and we have tried the Italian (can't remember the name). Does any one have any top recommendations for a good retaurant on the front with a nice sea/beach view but not lout music? Not too bothered about staff show or entertainment either really
We'd be grateful for any advice :?

I think Libertys is a nice beach front restraunt, they have an area over the sea where you can sit and eat your meal, never eaten there at night but it looks lovely.

Or you can sit up on the roof terrace at Deniz Kapisi and Harmony Bar and have great views of the bay :D

Agree with Eatock08 - Liberty's is a lovely place to eat in the evenings. They have a jetty out over the sea which you should book during busy season. You can see right round the bay with all the twinkling lights and hear the sea lapping. Its really lovely, and the food is really good. BTW, Liberty's is right at the end of the promenade towards the lighthouse end.

Location of the Bamboo for me. Right in the middle of Icmeler beach. Great for people watching. Nice food and nightly entertainment.

If your facing the sea follow the prom to your right and then you have Deniz Kapisi, Harmony and Libertys next door to each other at the end of the prom more or less

Liberty's is near enough the last place you come to. It is next door to the Mar-Bas Hotel. 8)

We had lunch in Coco Beach most days last year as well as dinner a few times so looking forward to this rooftop restaurant. Give me a few weeks and I'll give my verdict on all of these suggestions. I'd welcome any more that people have - we don't go untill 25th June. I was told that there are a few places over looking the sea as you head along the front toward Marmaris but it seemed a long walk to me - anybody have any ideas on this? :D

Yes Yiedley, our favourite place along that stretch is Cafe Del Mar. The views are breathtaking, and are great for photo taking. We usually just stop for an Efes or two!!!!!!

Just carry on walking past the Fantasia Hotel (the last hotel on the beach going towards Marmaris) and you will eventually come to it.

Helen

How long does it take (at a holiday amble speed) to walk from the canal/ Bamboo up to the Cafe Del Mar? Also is it a place we can get a meal too?

One view of the Cafe Del Mar looking towards Marmaris,
10 mins from the Bamboo Bar easy walking.
Meals also served here.
Free sunbeds during the day on the beach below the Restaurent.

Well we returned from Icmeler two weeks ago and badly missing it. Thanks for all the recomendations on beachfront restaurants. We had great meals in the Kontes - very nice, and twice in Coco Beach - thanks Gijo (spelling?) for reserving the best table with the best view.
However on the evening we decided to visit Cafe Del Mar it was really windy, (obviously not their fault  ) so the excelent table we had overlooking the bay wasn't that comfortable. We only ordered a light meal but it took over an hour to arrive and, to be honest , was only just warm. The place has lovely views and on a less windy evening it would be geat to relax and enjoy a few beers or cocktails but I'm afraid I would not recomend the Cafe Del Mar for an evening meal unless you'r not that fussed on speed or quality.
