I cannot give you a cost for the journey you mentioned but as an example the cost from the square to the very back of the Old Village was 13 lira and from the square to Senem Apartments in the Old Village was 7 lira. I thought they were very reasonable for the distance involved and that was for 3 passengers.

I read on a previous post but on a different topic that a taxi from Marmaris was around 40 lira, which I think is expensive. Due you think that was because it was after midnight, coz i think thats extortionate.

ask at taxi rank say the one at tansas how mutch to greenworld apts thats way back up old village they will say 15 offer 10 they will take you if not busy but yes after midnight the prices do rocket up dolmus are better .

Dolmus after midnight. When do they stop.

last dolmus in high season is 1am to old village and im sure 1:30am to marmaris
the price of taxi's dramatically increase after midnight as they know that the dolmus will stop soon
normally the taxi's outside greenworld and julian forest will give you a good price if you ask them for dolmus price

we stayed at the tokmak in may, and got a taxi most nights from the dry canal, pay no more than 8 lira with no tip, as i made one put it on his meter and it cam to just over 6, we got one back from harmony bar at 12.45 and that was 10 lira

Haggle before you get in, they dont like you to walk away especially if they have been parked with not much business.

icmeler is only about 1 mile from beach to back and about half mile wide. i wouldnt pay more than a coupe of quid for a 5 min taxi ride. any way id rather walk.or stagger lol hic!##

We got a taxi from back of Old Village to Bazaar in Marmaris for 20 lira - it metered 39. This was the price offered when driver stopped at Dolmus and asked where we were going. I couldn't believe it - what a deal.

any tips for club tokmak also what bars close did u drink in

does the bus go anywhere close to club tokmak

you ll love the club tokmak family run apartments with very friendly staff who will go out of their way to help you. we used to have a stroll into town every night its only a ten minute stroll (and thats with an 8 year old). there are so many bars and restaurants for you to try and its as easy to walk into the old village as it is the new town. Also you could not be closer to the wednesday market as it is situated directly behind the apartments.

Agree with you there. Much rather walk, no matter what time I just love walking around icmeler.

Word of advice - always agree on a price to your destination before you start your journey!

thats all we used it for, having an 8 year old in tow it was quicker to get a taxi then walk or carry him

my dad is staying at the navy hotel and the bars around there seem cheaper and better and we also have a 14 year old who hates walking
so same idea for u want down get taxi back in the evenings
