May be worth contactimg Onur air or aegean flights and asking them about a seat? I know Aegean usually block buy so may have something or could at least let you know of any cancellations. Good luck, hope you get something.

Andy has already done this

Annie Aegean don't block buy, its them that are the agents for Onur air so they control the sale of the plane

If you can get 1 seat on a different flight could you just change one of the names so you could travel with the young lad and your otherhalf could travel on his own. It would get you all there and back just not together. Di.

Good idea Diane ,but we have two other children and one is only13months old.It would be difficult for either one of us to travel with three kids.Had a word with JT he suggested all going on 24th two days later so spoke with Agean and asked if we could just swap seats. Not that easy 1st they wanted £30 a person admin charges then the difference in the price of the seats ,which we purchased last may ,so you can imagine the difference, then the price of the extra seat was coming out a little over £750 ,just can't afford that.

Have you spoken to Social services, they may help as you're doing your best for this little boy. They may help.Failing that perhaps you could take the youngest with you as the baby doesn't need a seat.It would just be one extra flight and a name change then.

hi hope you get this sorted , if you do dont forget to get a letter from social services to allow the little one through customs , we are foster carers and take our kids with us and are nearly always asked for proof of permission to travel , good luck 8)

Thanks for the advice icmelar rocks we always take kids in our care to icmelar and always get written permission. This little fella has only just come to stay with us and unfortunately the flight is booked up.We really don't want him to suffer anymore upheaval and want to offer him the seccurity he deserves. The cost of moving the holiday is extortionate to be honest,we have explored my wife and I going separately each with a couple of kids and it's not practical really. That's why I have posted on here in the hope someone may know of a cancellation on the flight .

hi this may be a long shot ,but on the beach web site has same flight numbers, but would only let me put in 1 adult and one child price £692 for the 2 flights. but maybe if u phone them ,if they have the flights, u will be able to just book the one child flight. heres a link to the price http://www.onthebeach.co.uk/basket/review phone no is at top of page might be a waist of time but worth trying anything good luck!!

Hi Andy,
Hope you can book this. £346 with 20 kg included is not too bad, especially for peak season. Been watching your post with bated breath, wishing you all the luck in the world and it finally looks like a light at the end of the tunnel. Let us all know how you get on,
Carol
