How big is Icmeler?

Postby Chris221273 » 06 Jun 2011 19:31

I'm just curious as to how big Icmeler is as in from end to end.
Apart from a trip to Majorca long ago I've only ever been to Zante/Zakynthos and stayed in Argassi 4 times, which you could walk from the first shop/bar to the last along the main strip in about 15 minutes.
So am wondering if I might be needing some new comfy trainers :-)
Thanks
Chris

i reckon its about 1 mile from the beach to to back of the resort and about 1/2 mile wide. not massive but plenty of streets, shops n bars. try walking around marmaris. now thats a big place. the only place ive ever been lost in my life lol. had to get a taxi to appartment the first time i went.

I think thats a good estimate, from the beach to the very back of the resort I would say takes 30 minutes walk in the heat, 15 minutes from the main marmaris road to the harbour.

if you include the old village and as far back as greenworld and julian forest then i would say its about a good hours walk in the heat from the beach to those hotels/apartments
icmeler has grown over the years but still has a small place charm
its a good size i would say
