Icmeler Online Holiday Forum & Reviews - Turkey

Hi can anyone tell me where these aparts are, I have looked on the map on the main page but I can't seem to figure out where they are, looking at the map it looks like they are on the beach??!!!?

no they are up towards the tanas ,
DON'T GO ,
JUST BACK FROM A WEEK THERE ,
WORST APART IN MY 8 YEARS IN ICMELER ,

I am absolutely amazed by your comments.
I admit it is 2 years since we were shown the Faber Apts but at that time the Apartments furnishings,balcony furniture & kitchen equipment was the best we had ever seen it also had a microwave.
The pool area which we used a couple of times was brilliant.

nothing wrong with pool or barmen ,
just the rooms ,
no microwave or toaster as advertised,
rooms dirty
had to ask for room servive after 4 days ,
i could go on ,
but y should i bother ...

I left a review on here for these apartments last year. its our 6th time to Icmeler so we are fairly used to the ''norm'' shuggy we are all entitled to our own opinions, when the maid put a beer crate under the kids bed to 'fix' it i had enough!! The bed scraped my daughters leg badly and one lady fell and broke a bone round the pool! I could go on and on! Anyway, we quite liked our room once we got moved from the attic! Our main problem was the barmen being totally unfriendly and not getting a sunbed for 3 weeks!!

A good old Yorkshire saying Leevi all fur coat and no knickers! Room size, decor etc fine cleaning leaves a lot to be desired as does atmosphere! i actually hankered after these apartments for a couple of years before we managed to get them at an acceptable price, never again i quite like being treated as a human being (and better than that usually in Icmeler) and i also feel Shuggy gave valid reasons for not enjoying their stay! And they advertise as satellite tv, fine if you want american religious programmed

hi we stayed at the faber last year had lovely time hotel was good rooms cleaned every day room was good size we have stayed hotels on the beach rooms were so small compared to faber the staff were great looked after us well had a bit of bother first week with sunbeds but they put sign up most people obeyed the signs not put towels out before 7 in morn have booked to go back next month hope i wont be dissapointed with reading your comments

to book them private for this year in august,
but price put us of.
but they looked ok ,
but i have stayed in better and cleaner 2 star in icmeler ,
this is a so called 4 star,
i had to ask after 4 days if they had maids
no clean towels , no bed ghange , no bins empty ,
they said clean tomorrow ,
i said no tonight,
i rest my case ,,,,,,,,,,,,,

why did you want to stay there again if your previous experience was so bad?

Getting a bit worried now after reading some of these reviews!!!.
My daughter will be stopping there at the end of June. It seems to be the norm for them to put you in a cramped attic room and hope you don't moan!! Daughter won't have this I can tell you.
Hope I'm not worrying too much about this.The only good thing about it is that we are staying at the Bahar apartments across the road!!

we stayed last year had fab time the staff were good room got cleaned dont worry we going back on 1st july

Mind you, I don't think my daughter would have put up with being stuck up in the attic!!!

My OH has seen this thread and is rather worried. Like on any forum peoples expectations can be so different. Thats not to say if they are wrong or right. You can choose to take opinions on board.

We have been going to Icmeler for over 10 years now and have decided to stay at Faber this year. The rooms look ok. TV not a problem as we are on holiday. Not too worried about the towel situation as I used to get up at 5am at Alvaro. Just wont have our dog with us

Going in August so I am confident that any problems will have been ironed out before the season gets underway.

I do all the check in stuff so will look out for the attic room too.

I cant believe some of the comments ive read a out the faber
on here. We go in july for the 4th time in a row. There are
People weve met who have been there 11 times in a row.
Its all about peoples individual perception but we find it an
Excellent hotel and its staff will entertain you and make your
Holiday is memorable if you want them to. Sure, you will find some
Faults with it if you look for them as you would in any hotel.
But me, i prefer to sit back, kick off my shoes and worry about
nothing. Cant wait.
