hi all been popping in and out of
icmeler for a good number of years now does anyone remember the fish and chip cafe/restraunt across from the tansas last year when we went it had gone? empty it was owned by a scottish woman does anyone know if she reopened elseware or has she given up and gone they were the best fish chips/pie chips and mushy peas i ever came across in icmeler/marmaris ????????? is there anyone who can recommend a good chippy in icmeler(can,t resist good homemade fish chips or pie/chips and mushy peas at least a couple or three times even when away must be the wiganer in me

i remember that wasnt it alled gloria's or summat like that the fish was boneless aswell so the kids loved it xxx

I think it was Eileens, you could try Friar Tucks Chippy or Travellers Rest for a decent pie

Icmeler - go to Friar Tucks next to 3 bells opposite Captain Bu****its... they are delicious & owned by Christine from The Travellers Rest.

we went to Harry Rams for fish and chips one night last year and they were lovely!! its on the left hand side past lal.
although i have heard that Harry Rams has moved this year but not sure how true that is? x

NO, Harry Rams is in the same place we ate there a couple of weeks ago and it was lovely.

food was lovely at Harry Rams but i bit off putting after I have had my meal and the waitress comes out of the loo and does not wash her hands

The sink is in the loo (same room!) so you will not see her wash her hands. I often eat there and they are very clean and I can recommend any meal there, the chips are delicious- best in Icmeler.

yes i do know that, i went in straight after her not realising there was one loo, the sink was bone dry and no bin for towels to be found

eaten there many times never had any concerns over their cleanliness , lovely genuine people

oh yes eileens ,,, where is she now ???? had fish n chips at several resturants over the years but very few debone the fish x
