Thankfully i have just been informed i have shingles today (3rd time!!!!!) so relieved i have 7 weeks and 6 days to recover as would not have been able to fly!

Hope you get better soon Jo, lots of time for you to rest and recuperate and get back to full health to enjoy Icmeler.

Hi Jo, I can sympathise with you as I had shingles whilst on holiday in Icmeler one year. I visited the chemist to try and explain to them what I thought was going on, but unfortunately I could not make them understand, and they gave me some cream to rub on the shingle site, It was horrible and I was so ill with it. I took a photo of the shingle site every day on my phone so that I could show the progression to my Doctor on my return, and it was him that confirmed the diagnosis for me. You will be back to full recovery before your holiday I'm sure. Plenty of rest for you now! Take care.

Good job you got them before you arrived in Icmeler; I can sympathise had a very mild dose myself many years ago. Take care and look after yourself

Yes my friend had them 2 years ago when we were staying at Bonjour - she was very embarassed and uncomfortable in the heat

Thanks for the good wishes, i have a very uncomfortable week but have been to work as normal this is the third time i have had shingles so hopefully it's the last, as they say no rest for the wicked
