you can book a boat trip. its cheap enough and they take you to the mud baths. ICR will sort you out. good fun but it stinks in the sulpher pool. dont expect to see turtle on the beach tho. i dont think people are allowed there when its breeding season.

Hi turtle beach is at Dalayan, we did a boat trip last year, its a long day, left about 9.30am returned about 8pm but well worth the trip, we were lucky enough to see a very large turtle, local fisherman lured one up with a crab, amazing sight :D , they transfer you to a smaller boat to go along the river to mud baths, baths are stinky but good fun, sea gets a bit choppy on return but we thoroughly enjoyed the whole day.

You can go on the beach in breeding season but parts are roped off and you cannot lay or sit on that part (no sunbeds etc) only walk across to get to where you can sunbathe (and to the sea of course!)

Hi, you can also go by coach before transferring to small boat for cruise along Dalyan delta past the Lycian rock tombs, mud baths and turtle beach. Return same way avoiding risk of choppy sea, if you prefer.

Hi
I usually holiday in Dalyan. You can prob get a dolmus to ortaca from Marmaris then another one into Dalyan.. Then you can just get the public boat to the beach, or take the Dolmus to the beach from the village centre. Its easy to do. hope this helps. As people have said you can do a boat trip from Icmeler and you could prob arrange to skip the mud baths etc and just get dropped in the village. then you can take the public boat etc. When you do the trips you dont get that much time at the beach and it is a fantastic beach... if you went under your own steam you could stay the night too and go back to Icmeler the next day, its cheap enough to do.

ICR do a Dalyan trip which includes turtle beach - details on the excursions sections on the main Icmeler Online page, or pop into the office when you're in the resort.
