Ive not even been to icmeler yet (July) but im starting to plan my next holiday. We only booked few weeks ago so flights were costing around £330 each. I had seen them slightly cheaper beforehand. Whats roughly the best price for flight and the best time to book. Is it asap, as soon they are available? Done a package this year but would like to do it independent next time.

We booked last October for 2nd June. T..... C.... flights £240 including taxes, meals, luggage and pre booked seats. This is from Edinburgh leaving 18.50 and flight back at 15.15. This is a good price from Edinburgh.

Same as ashington44, we booked with Tommy last October when the flights became available and saved almost £200 on what we paid last year. Original flight time going out was 1230 and back at 1930 but this was changed to 1130 and 1830, both of which suits us better. We'll arrive in Icmeler and Glasgow in daylight.

If you are doing a DIY holiday, we would recommend early flight bookings.

Aegean Flights sale came at the beginning of this week. I have (and many others) booked flights for 2012 at a cost of £609 - thats for two people flying out June 2012 and same two people flying out Sept 2012, approx £150 each, thats including luggage allowance too.

Thomas Cook flights seem to fluctuate daily. The flights I'm on I've seen range between £130 and £190 return and I paid £174 when I booked in March, that's Manchester to Dalaman. At the moment they're £129 return and this is for two weeks time so even though it's close they are still very cheap. I wish I'd have waited a bit longer but I thought they would only go up, not down!

Booked my flights last September for this August. Paid £229 each which includes 22kg plus 5kg hold luggage. Flight out at 11 am and back into Glasgow at 21.15. Flights are now over £100 more. I think it's best to book early, lots of good deals to be had. By the way, fly out 21stAugust and return 4thSeptember.

We booked our flights for nxt year, flying August 9th from humberside for the 4 of us it was £ 630, that was with Aegean.
