Hello,
Does anyone know how much extra leg room seats are for Monarch? Also where are the leg room seats situated, im traveling with a child and understand that if the seats are situated in emergencay exits i wont be able to sit in them.
Thanks for your help!

I'm pretty sure they don't allow you to sit in the seats at the emergency exits if you are travelling with a child, as you have to be capable of opening the doors in the event of an emergency. Certainly, on a couple of different airlines I've flown with, they've asked the people sitting in those seats if they would be able to open the doors and if they were comfortable with that, and if not, would they move elsewhere. Can't help you as to the cost of extra legroom seats though - maybe someone else will know that.

Hi - weve had extra leg room seats with Monarch. Last time was a couple of years ago and cost us £50 each return. However I seem to remember with Monarch they were all by exits so wouldnt let child have one. Hope this helps

The front row of the seats have extra leg room so you will probably be put there, we booked these seats and this is where we were put I think it was £30 each return and that was 2009.

We have flown with Monarch from Edinburgh the last twice and the first 7 rows have additional leg room, which we were allocated without having to pay extra. However on our return journey we were further back on the plane and the room was much more restricted. My advice is to book in early and ask for front rows. Hope this works for you.

We flew with Monarch from Ednburgh for many years but the last time we tried to book on line
Dalaman was not available? We have had to book with T..... C.... and because of flight times we miss two of our precious days in Icmeler.

Ashington44. We had booked to fly with Monarch next week but flight has now been changed to T*****n. As you say I do not think they are flying out of Edinburgh this year - more's the pity as they were really good. Let's hope T's is as good!
