the ekinci. near the old town i think

From the Ekinci if you head towards the beach, to the 1st major road you will possibly pass the BEST (thats the name of it) supermarket, this is opposite the Babadan aparts. When you get to the main road (probably near Azra jewellers) turn left and the main Tansas is in that direction, as is the wednesday market.

cheers steve. sounds like you know your way around. do you visit or live there?

This will be our 6th visit to Icmeler, there`s been changes but nothing too dramatic. I tend to get my bearings quickly and have a reasonably good memory of where things are. I also like walking round as I`m not a beach person.

i like a good wander myself. think ill try walking to the flag. might even take the dogs. probable have stoll along to marmaris and see what they heve changed this year.

the walk to the flag in august will be long and very hot
you will easily find tansas as its on the main road in icmeler
also just ask anyone around at your hotel or at cubana which is next door and then will help you
