My husband has always said that he would have to try a Turkish shave, so while on holiday in June we went along with a couple that we met, the men had heads shaved and their shave, while sitting waiting for them the lad asked us if me and my friend would like our eye brows reshaped, why not I thought little did we know it was not with pluckers or wax but with thread, I would be lying if I said it did'nt hurt but hey us girls know the pain we have to go through for are beauty, when she was doing my friends she showed me how to do it, they did a really good job and would say to anyone to give it a try, now all I have to do is to practice on someone, my husbands legs are hairy I think I'll start there :!: :!:

Hi Glasgow girl, the pain is about the same as waxing, your skin does numb and when they are finished they put a cooling mask on, must say the girl I was with was crying with the pain and said she would never have it done again, why not give it a try but you have to be brave.

Hey if you can cope with waxing you can cope with just about anything! I know a couple of people that have had it done and they love the finish and reckon it lasts for ages, so may well give it a try in Sept when im back out

Hi Ayse

Yes that was me

I never thought I had a moustach  until my husband went for a shave and I stupidly sat in the shop waiting for him so they done my eyebrows, moustach nails and hair who says the Turks cant sell anything

ah bit it was nice to be pampered even though it was painful.

I hate pain do you know when I went for a Turkish bath being washed with the soapy thing was extrutiatingly painful for me and the next day my legs were all bruised.
