We are planing on going up to Altinkum for 2 nights, as we have friends staying there this
year, they will be comig back down to Icmeler with us. has anyone done the bus journey from Marmaris
to Altinkum recently, im sure you book the bus at the back of Tansas. Any help on journey time, which bus company
to use would be a big help'
Cheers.

Journey time 3.5-4 hours

Thanks for the help we're in Icmeler for 3 weeks thats the only reason we're going up to
Altinkum, the friends we're bringing back with us have never visited Icmeler, so we're
looking forward to showing them around all the haunts.

It only takes 3 hours to drive, 200kms. I used to do it regurlarly and it is following the route Icmeler>Marmaris>Mugla>Yatagan>Milas>Altinkum. All the roads are straight and you don't need to turn down any side roads, so I'd say this is the better option. There's lots of places to stop on the way for drinks, ice creams etc, so part of your holiday.
