Mosquito net?

Postby Silky10 » 05 May 2011 13:53

hi everyone we will be coming to Icmeler in 7 weeks with our 10 month old baby, would a mosquito net be required for our babies pram at night time when we are out for a meal and a drink or is baby insect repellent enough :)

Thanks

take a mossy net if you have one. they are not heavy. double the safety along with repellants, well worth it at nightime where the little ones are concerned. do your most to keep them comfortable,as it gets very hot also, nowt worse than bites in the heat.

We put insect repellent on our grandchild's clothes and the area around her when she was five weeks old and again last year when she was a one year old. The first year we used a repellent from Holland and Barrett that we'd been recommended for babies, it was in a black spray bottle and I think it was called Incognito or something similar. She didn't have one bite on either holiday.

I would agree with bill. The mozzie net won't take up much room and will weigh hardly anything, and it will give you that wee bit added piece of mind.
