The information we were given is that if you go to 'tourist' areas you have a choice whether to have them or not as they are not essential. If you go to other areas it is definitely recommended that you have them, especially against TB if you are 21 or younger. This is because the immunisation programme in schools against TB was stopped a few years ago and so this age group is not covered.
Its just personal choice. If I was venturing further afield I would definitely have them as taking the risk is like playing Russian Roulette, just because you didn't catch anything last time doesn't mean next time you'll be so lucky. If you're only in tourist areas where the risk is very low why bombard your body with all the injections and risk all the side effects.
