Icmeler Online Holiday Forum & Reviews - Turkey

Read so many good posts about how good Icmeler is ( and i agree with them all ) but what makes Icmeler great for you. For me its got to be the Turkish people they go out of their way to be friendly. Also who is your favorite bar person / waiter, mine has got to be Joseph from the Venice bar ( the Pop inn before that )

Icmeler definitely has something special - but yes, I agree with you, the people are what really make it a place you want to keep returning to time and time again. I've never met anyone so friendly and welcoming anywhere else and it always amazes me how they remember you, even if you've only visited their establishment once the previous year.

We have been visiting Icmeler for many years and have made many turkish friends over the years. These include Erhan & Jan @ Majestic, Barry @ SET, Speedy and Mustafa at Sports Bar, Serdin @ Loveboat to name but a few

I would nominate Gulay and Suzanne in Diva Bar as my favourite bar people - their friendliness helped make our holiday great last year

yep Turkish people for me too. Beautiful scenery, quiet bars and boom boom bars, lovely food, I could go on and on just love it Hakan at Tandoori Sizzler, known him a good few years now soooo funny Oscar at Kactus bar, very kind man and I love my Dram there.

for me there is no one thing that makes icmeler great its the mixture of everything people have wrote on the forum and what people talk about after their first visit. the turkish peoples friendly welcome , the fact nothing is to much trouble for them and that you remain friends with them year after year.... to mention just a few things

i have only been to icmeler once and we go again in 3 weeks yipppeee. what made me want to return was definatley the turkish people, yes they want your money but unlike other nations they want you to have a good time whilst your spending it, whereas other countrys are not interested in you once you are through the door.

This. Been there twice, 2008...then 2010, walking past majestic last year someone from the Elvis bar who was eating in there called me and my daughter over (we hadn't seen him since 2008) its the same everywhere as Blondie says they just seem to remember you, truly amazing people. You try and get that in spain.
PS Don't lend money off them and expext them to forget.

Everything the turkish people are so friendly.Beautiful scenery and great food.

The lovely people who remember you from the previous years in spite of the hundreds of faces they must see in a season. Sunbeds you dont have to pay a fortune to use. The reasonably priced days out on sea or land. The selection of good food in nice restaurants and bars. I think I should see more of the world but every year I look at the brochures and decide upon Icmeler. Roll on June.

i have only been to icmeler once and that was 7yrs ago but like every1 else says the turkish people make you feel very welcome and we had the best week ever. im coming back with my family will be strange because no doubt it will have changed alot in 7yrs but still cant wait 2weeks 1 day and counting lol

What is so great about Icmeler and makes us keep going back?

Is it the feeling pf belonging?
Loving a culture different to ours?
The Magnificent scenery?
A love of the food be it Turkish or International?
The nightlife,the Karaoke,dance bars,the theme shows or a quite drink?
The trips out on the boats,jeep safari,horse riding or the watersports?
The sun,sea and sands?
The friendlyness of the Turkish and Kurdish people?

I have my reasons, and can list all the above as being a part of my repeat visits but the main reason I think is.

"I AM HOME"

evrything bout icmeler is great

the people
the peacefulness
jack at th florida bar
and all staff at club sunvillage

this is our 3rd year and cannot wait till 26th june never had such a relaxing holiday

One thing not mentioned is the staff at ICR, boy do they make your stay great.
