Met the shoe man this year Cemal and the repairs he did to my shoes was fantastic for only 20 TL. I had a pair of mules that needed to be re-heeled and soled and the local repairers here did not think they could do and if they could it would cost a min of £20. Cemal hand cut new soles and heels, glued and nailed the soles and heels, polished the leather and oiled the wood. He is a proper master craftsman. If you have any shoes that need repairing he is definitely worth a visit.
Cemal is now based in the underground market opposite the NOA Hotel and is about the 4th stall in on the right channel of the market.

Yeah, he's in the underground market, take first opening just past Kapmar cafe bar, he's about 70 metres down on right but he's not always there , used him just 2 weeks ago, very pleased with his work.
