I am looking forward to both my Icmeler holidays so much but I dread the thought of having to sit on the plane for four and a bit hours.

Does anybody else agree with me? I wish I could just click my fingers and I was there!

Has anybody tried taking travel sickness tablets before or calms or anything like that? I dont feel sick or unwell whilst flying I just feel panicky and its the thought of the enclosed space.

I am feeling panicky just thinking about it!! Any tips.... x

Bach's rescue remedy is good for steadying the nerves, it works for me.

The first time I flew to Turkey I was panicking about the flight and the transfer as I am a nervous passenger, especially on a big coach on tiny mountain roads, but it was actually fine. My remedy was to fly at night and that day having put in a 13 hour day behind my desk and been up at 5am, that meant I slept through pretty much the entire journey, and it was something that my eyes won the argument with my nerves over!
The second time I flew and transferred it was like coming home so please try not to worry too much, you will be fine. Good luck with any remedies you are given on here, everyone is so helpful and friendly.

We both get anxoius before a flight, so last year i got some bach's rescue remedy and sure enough my husband asked me for it before we boarded the plane, guess what, i'd left it in my suitcase  so we had to grin and bear it
the moral of this story is pack it in your hand luggage!!

Whilst I enjoy flying, it can feel claustrophobic especially if I'm in the middle seat. My friend who's asthmatic took her inhaler and one of those oxygen sprays (over the counter - in an aerosol). It's refreshing and cools you down if you get a bit anxious - she swears by it.

My daughter and I have a cheaper version - we bought water sprays from poundland and filled them up with tap water. This went everywhere with us - on the plane, the transfer and around the resort - and it was great having it at the market. You can put crushed ice in it to make it really cool with a little water. If you get one that has different nozzle sprays (one of those you turn indifferent directions) it's so adaptable - from a great light face spray to a stronger one to cool your feet down! And yes, put it in your hand luggage!
