Hi we stay at the hotel each year i have e mailed for a room request a number of times & as yet never had any luck getting the room i want. We have found that it is best to be at the front of the hotel as you do not need the air con (which can be expensive ) as the sun is at the front in the morning & at the back in the afternoon which we find that this is when you are in the room the more after your day out & haveing a sesta. But it can also be a bit noisy from the Irish bar if you go to bed early. Im sure you will enjoy your hol no matter what

I stayed here a few years ago and had a room facing the Irish Bar, it did start to get noisy about 6ish but we were getting ready around that time only problem was it was the same Irish songs playing over and over again every day

Rooms are a good size and I think theres a fridge in them.

The pool area is a decent size but I don't think thats run by the hotel and there were a few complaints last year but If you pay for your drinks as you go along you should be OK.

10 of us stopped at Hotel Private last year for 2 weeks, 3 twin rooms and 1 family. All rooms were good. Family room had two separate bedrooms. Had no problems at all. Staff ok, good food, great location, booked for this year. We payed for our drinks as we had them so didn't know there was a problem, it's soo easy to lose track of what u've had and then end up being diddled :(

hi myself, family and friends have stayed at the private many times and Bobby the manager is great. Need to watch your bill at the bar though. We went there for the 30th birthday party of a friend who was staying there for about the 10th time. drinks were buy one get one free unfortunately there was no alcoholic content in the "free" one, the manager tried to bluff it saying we couldn't tell because we had been drinking before we got there! Same friend also told us that he had resorted to paying his for drinks as he bought them. He said he was sure he had been significantly overcharged when he ran up a tab at the begginning of his holiday. Other friends and family who stayed there last summer unfortunately reported the same problem. Some of them , in spite of being very good customers of the private over the years, have decided not to stay there this year purely because of the bar.It is a shame because as i said before Bobby is a great guy. :D
