Passport expiry.

Hello,
I am on holiday in
Icmeler from 17th Sept to the 10th Oct 2011.
My current passport expires on the 3rd April 2012.

You will have to re-new your passport as you need to have 6 months on your passport from the date of your return.
Its cutting it a bit fine with yours and I wouldnt risk it..

Your right Welshpat on the net it does say from the date of entry.
But I have also read were it says you only need to have 3 Months left,
A lot of conflicting info comeing up,I would still re-new mine if you intend to travel in the future.
Try the British Consulate site.

Hi WELSHPAT just renewed my other halfs and anything up to nine months left on your old one gets put on the new one so you dont loose anything and better to be safe than sorry

Your passport should be valid for at least six months on entry into Turkey and have at least three months validity from the date you are exiting Turkey. If you hold a Travel Document it must be valid for at least one year on entry into Turkey.

My current Passport would just still be valid as long as they don't change the entry requirements.
