The 2011 Aegean Flights came on sale in mid May 2010 (about the 18th) so using this as an example I would think they maybe available in another 8 weeks time.

I have been flying with Aegean for the past 4 years, two or 3 times a year and have never had a flight cancelled or not even a change in flight times. I am sure this happens from the larger airports as I flew from Manchester 2 years ago with another airline (just the once, never again!) and it was delayed for hours- I usually fly from Doncaster or Humberside and that was the only time in years I have had a delay, the same has happened with my friends and family. I think you are more or less ok from the smaller regional airports.

I would say the opposite, the big airports seem to be OK but not the smaller ones. I have had change of times on the same day but never a cancellation flying from Manchester since 2007 with Agean but I have heard of cancelations from Bristol, Cardiff, Birmingham and the Scottish airports, its all down to if the seats sell or not, in the end they are not going to operate a flight at a loss due to being half empty.

Totally agree Dave. Two years ago when we had our 5 flight changes/cancellation it was from Edinburgh, so not just happening at the bigger airports. Personally I'd never book with them again, but I do know some people who swear by them, but for me its a case of once bitten twice shy! I don't care if they are cheaper, I just want to be able to pick when I'm going and from which airport.

To be honest I don't think they are a lot cheaper anyway as once you add on all their 'extras' (which to me shouldn't be extras but essentials, like luggage!) its not as good as it first looks. I got flight with TC for £47.99 one way and that includes luggage.

we have never had any trouble with them and booked last May for this May - no changes but wondered if it was April or May when they start selling flights... we only paid £101 return this May - brilliant....

I have found many flights with TC or T*******S for the past few years for 40 odd or 50 quid for one way but if you check the prices for return it works out really expensive. Sounds great to get there for 50 quid or less but more than £150 or even £200 and in some cases much more to get back? No thanks! :(
