Does anyone know what is happening with the Elvis Bar? One of Barnie's photos shows the Elvis Bar sign sitting all dejected at a nearby restaurant. I know 'Jim' is now in Cheshire in a new venture but thought the bar would still be open this year.

Thanks for that Barnie. I loved sitting in Elvis bar in the afternoon and with it being on a corner you always got a lovely breeze. Hope someone takes it on as a bar.

shame that another bar has gone down not nice to see them going out of business

We have had an email from a friend in Icmeler to say he will be working at The Elvis Bar this year - so must be opening somewhere - we are trying to find out where though.... I will update as soon as we do.

Its opening across the road from Oscars somewhere

I was told by someone working in it this year that it is a few doors down from champagne's bar im sure i will come across it at some point would be good to know where it is though

Yep, just down from Champagne and over road from Wonder Bar. Old Elvis Bar being turned into a supermarket.

oh hell.... no chance of a nice quiet meal at Vinces then! Last year it was a competition of who could blast our ear drums out the most between Oscars and Elvis bar. Good job the food's fab!! Even saying that, I'm pleased that the Elvis bar is going to be open.

Will it be the same people running it as they're a great bunch, although I did read somewhere that Jim is in this country doing something, Cheshire I think.

I was thinking the same, if the music is booming like it used to when they were on the corner then unfortuately Vince will miss out on my custom this year, hopefully it won't be too loud as during me meal I like to hold a conversation.
