Back from Icmeler

We stayed in the Dilhan Hotel. Very quiet and very basic but those who stayed there said in was in a lovely spot and we all enjoyed our stay there.
Icmeler is definitely a bit special, well more than a bit. It has everything for everyone. From the lovely peaceful quiet bars that were well recommended, Magic Garden, Fess bar and the Bamboo on the beachfront with the singer where we have been going for a quiet drink and chill out..
Linacre’s Bar is superb for lively dance music, you will know all the music, all favourites. Motown 60s and 70s. Nice dance floor and fireworks, cocktails and those dancing barmen, wow.
Havana Bar with Zaza, he’s mad but a great character. The food there is lovely as well. It is next door to the Alinda hotel.
Stella show at the Harmony Bar is well recommended it was very, very good.

Favourite restaurant is still the Famous Old Kitchen. Waterfall is a lovely restaurant but they kept asking us to buy more drinks which was a bit of a nuisance. Kingsland chinese was excellent, food superb.
Market was as mad as ever. We watched the price of underpants go up and down, 15 for ten pound then 18, then 20 up to 25. Such things economies are based on. Everything seemed to be six for a tenner, tops, shorts. New cry in the market was cheaper than E-Bay.
Unlike Hisaronu everything was priced and charged in Lira and half the price of our stay there in May.
Boat trips were great and we finally made it to Dalyan
We had a wonderful time and we are looking forward to going back.
Thanks to Icmeler online for a good time and a great holiday.

No Gene,
That was Phil. Mark did his party piece marching through Turunc. I was skulking in the background encouraging him while trying to appear he had nothing to do with me.
I have some photos I will post when I get the chance and have cleared the washing and ironing.
