Yes you can visit the castle in Marmaris, i can't remember how much it was but it isn't a lot. There are some pics in photo gallery,its a beautiful view.

we went last year i think it is about 2 lira to get in, its not massive but you can spend about an hour looking around. The views are spectacular and are worth the entrance fee alone

You must also go to the castle bar and restaurant,its even higher up again with spectacular views :D

I agree totally with Chris, if you visit the Castle in Marmaris, then you must pay Castle Bar a visit. We found this bar about two years ago and thought it was magic. The views are unbelievable. If you can, try and be up in the rooftop bar when the sun goes down, it is really really beautiful. It is quite a hike up to the bar (up about 70 steps!) but well worth it.

think i will visit marmaris castle this year as i have been to alanya castle before and the views from there were amazing

We went a few years ago, the views are beautiful. It was only a couple of lira entrance fee, but because Ahmet was there with us, we got in free :lol:

You have to buy something from the old woman at the top of the hill - she really touched me spiritually, I dont know what it was about her, but I hope she is still around and doing well.

The old woman really got the hump with us because my wife was rushing back to the cafe on the front to use the loo,(women eh) and told her we couldn,t stop, Oh well perhaps this year.

We took the kids to marmaris castle a couple of years ago great views and worth the entrance fee which was only a couple of lira got to agree with reesy you have to meet the old lady at the top of the hill what a lovley old lady she is kept calling the wife mamma and you cannot help buying from her shop but a visit to the castle is well worth a visit Roll on september kenny

Yes you can get to it through the bazaar,or have a walk around the marina and cut through there,the views are fantastic.
