Ours has been cancelled too(from Edinburgh) on Friday 1st July. They have offered us to go on Sunday 3rd July from Edinburgh at silly o'clock and even sillier o'clock on the way back. :(

We've had our return flight cancelled as well (Cardiff). Instead of returning on 24th July at 19.00 we now return on 23rd July at 16.45. So not only are we losing a complete day but also the valuable extra couple of hours of sunshine we would have had before heading to the airport for an evening flight. This is the first time this has happened to us so I suppose we've been lucky up till now, especially when booking so early.

It's Aegean Flights (Onur Air) - I'm starting to get a bit worried too as that's who we are booked with in June. Haven't received any emails from them, but I'm going to give them a ring to check.

The reason there have been changes to the Scottish flights, is that they cannot fill the seats, so they are merging flights to compensate for this.

If anyone has booked through ICR, you will be notified as soon as the changes are sent to me, as some guests are already aware.

Sharon, we've booked through ICR, but when I went on to the Aegean website to check the flights, the times appear to have been changed from our original booking, but we've had no notification of this at all.

Update: managed to get through to Aegean, who were a bit surprised that I was querying this, as she claimed they hadn't officially been told, but yes, our flight had been cancelled too! She said they weren't in a position to tell me what the alternative flight offers might be at this stage, but would be back in touch asap. Not very satisfactory, really...

It's a strange one if they are saying they can't fill the seats on the Scottish flights,2 of my family tried to get booked to join us months ago and the flight was full,so they ended up booking to go from Prestwick, only for the Edinburgh flight to come available a couple of weeks ago, they changed to go on Edinburgh flight, and now it's been withdrawn on that day.

I've just checked my booking with Aegean to find out flight has been delayed on the way out on 12th August from Manchester(20:30 instead of 11:00) and on the way back leaving Dalaman at 17:30 rather than 05:00. It's just by coincidence that I checked! Hope it doesn't change again. Thank goodness we've booked our transfer with ICR.

And they will most probably change these times again, however I feel these changes are more drastic than ever before.

Our flights are also Aegean (Onur Air). We normally fly from Bristol as it was the nearest airport for us but this year they had flights from Cardiff on a Saturday and on a Sunday. We fly out on a Saturday but were due to fly back on a Sunday. They have cancelled all the Sunday flights, I suppose the bookings weren't as good as they thought they would be.

I had noticed this a few weeks before they notified us by going on the website and checking if our flights were still available. I thought it was strange that I couldn't even book one seat on our return flight as there are always a number of spare seats on the plane. Their email came through as I was about to ring them. So one way of checking is just by going on their website and checking their information section under "flight timings".

Well, as feared, our flight has been cancelled, but yet again, because we'd booked through ICR, Sharon from the Liverpool office was on the phone to us and sorted us out with an alternative flight within minutes. And as a bonus, we now get an extra day in Icmeler. ICR come up trumps again - thanks guys, you really do provide an excellent service. Worth booking with you just for that personal touch and peace of mind alone, never mind everything else.
