We have been looking at flights from newcastle to dalaman for a while and tonight they have dropped from 808 to 775 for 10 days in july for 3 of us!!! Are things in Turkey going to be affected by whats happening in Libya? Think I might hold off and see what happens!!! What do you think?

Watch out for fuel surcharges being added on now !!

If you see a price you like grab it as it will be either going up or gone

yes TC announced yesterday that they are adding a surcharge of £15 per person on short haul flights and £45 on long haul for the increase in fuel
not long before all the other airlines follow so unfortunately our flight prices are only set to rise even more

""T.C. has slapped on the surcharges for all new bookings, while Thn and its F.C. division will apply theirs on 4 March. Both operators are charging an extra £15 a person on short-haul flights (less than three hours) to destinations such as Spain and Portugal, adding £60 to the cost for a family of four.
Trips to the likes of Greece and Egypt will attract an extra £25 a person, while long-haul vacations with flights, such as to the US and Cuba, will add £40 a person or £160 to the bill for a family of four."

Turkey is classed as medium haul so will increase an extra £25,i will just have to save up a lot harder for my holiday

c***p holidays are only adding the fuel surcharges to bookings made after the 1st of march.

The flights I was checking every day actually went DOWN the day after TC announced they were putting their fares up! I got MAN->DLM x2 for June for £173 each, can't wait!!

TC play with their prices all the time so you have to watch the flights and when they go low just book them
