Hi,
I am looking to get away for a week this April and would love to go back to Icmeler, but not to sure if the season will have started there or not.
Can anyone enlighten me please?

The season really starts beginning of May but people who have gone in April in the past have enjoyed seeing Icmeler waking up from its winter hibernation.

Staff are arriving, some places will be open, some will open while you are there, others will still be getting ready.

More visitors will start to arrive and things will slowly start getting busier ready for the main influx of guests in May.

Me, I would say go for it, I would like to go in April one year just to see the awakening.

I agree with Dave - while things will just be starting to get underway, it would be quite nice to see Icmeler at that time of year.

I agree, nice to see the awakening of Icmeler. Everyday bit by bit (truck by truck) more beachbeds
We will see, I am there 21 april, enjoy!!!!

the weather can be lovely can hit almost 30 in the day time sometiems
as you progress through April it begins to get hotter
but night times can still be a little chilly so you might need a cardigan

I would still bring a light cardy for evenings but that's all .... temps seem to be about 18C

25 A few wipy clouds around but i'm off to nirvana beach for a relaxing afternoon

tho do bring a brolly! Last April, the weather was fantastic - in the late 20's but the April before was very rainy - tho not cold. I can't believe what a fab February we've had - still warm enough to swim in the sea some days!

we were there early april last year, not much open but the bars /restaurants that were open were very pleased to have customers and had more time to chat ,it was strange seeing the beach without sunbeds, and many of the shops were still closed, we walked along to marmaris many times and the builders were all over the place, we returned 4 weeks later and the transformation was amazing, all the work was completed, shops were full of goods and all the bars and restraunts were open, quite amazing as some of them still looked demolished and half built only a few weeks before, we were back again at the end of the season and so it was lovely to see the beginning and end of the season when its a little quieter and also enjoy a couple of weeks in the middle of the season to enjoy it when its bustling roll on eight weeks time when we can do it all over again

all other places including izmir a lot colder
hope its heating up for me going in april to alanya
