hi pastie63,
we have stayed at the ekinci palace last september.
nice pool and pool area but wasnt very clean around the pool
make sure you dont get the top floor apartments like being in prison, cant see over the top of the wall on balcony

its not too far from the main road straight up from romance bar. about 10 mins walk

There are some nice bars in the old town and we enjoyed them just as much as in the main town

ozzy's bar to mention one
stella show is a must and the food is great in there now with air conditioning

best cheap hotel in icmeler is kontes beach which has the best views of the beach and bang in the middle of the bay
book early to get in this one approx only 28 rooms

cant wait to go back this year in sept to sun blue apartments behind marti hotel, anybody stayed there?

dave

Hi Pastie,

Yes we going to the Ekinci Palace from 12th August for 2 weeks. This will be our 5th time at the Apartments. Its not the Ritz but we're not looking for luxury 5 star hotels, the rooms are basic but clean and any problems you have are easily sorted at reception. The staff for the last 2 years have been brilliant so here's to 2011!!! can't wait. Hopefully see you there ...

Hi All

I'll be there from the 19th aug with a group of about 12 people. Ekinci has some good reviews. the rooms at the top look a bit small tho. i usually go to Marmaris so im looking forward to Icmeler.

We were at Ekinci last Sept. We were up in one of the top floor rooms - could not see over the balcony -but got a move to a lower floor room which was fine. Had to ask for clean towels. Also had a problem with shower no hot water - got new pump eventually. Also there was a problem with the pool - green water instead of blue for a couple of dys - something went wrong withthe chemicals. We are going back in June so hopefully everything will go well this year! Dont think Ali, receptionist, will be there this year!

We are coming to Ekinci Palace apartments 20 Aug ( cant wait ) and although we stayed there last year it was late Sept so didnt use Air con, does anyone know or remember how much the aircon and the safe's are please? We are bringing brother-in-law and his girl friend this year, and they would like to know to help them budget etc.
Thanks for any help on the subject, i know people have asked this sort of thing before but i cant find what im looking for ! Joan
